We’ve officially made it to summer - my favorite time of the year! Even though this will be a very busy summer for me, I will definitely find time to enjoy the beach…I love how relaxing it is to sit and enjoy the sounds of the ocean while reading a great book. Spring Cleaning at it’s finest!

Today it took three of us most of the morning to clean out my home office. I haven’t touched it in over four years..it was a bit like an episode of Hoarders in there! But, we managed to power through it and I am so excited to be able to work from home more often.

Over the years I have looked for many ways to balance running a company and being a single mom. It’s so important to me to be a part of my daughter’s lives and I know that this will be a great way to share time with them while also doing what I love!

Another Reason to Love Emma Stone

Congratulations to Emma Stone for winning the first ever Trailblazer award on Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards!

When Stone took the stage to accept her award she seemed touched by the honor and continued on to give a heartwarming, genuine speech. There was one part that especially rang true to me that I wanted to share with you all.

“I hope that you’ll continue to harness your own originality and what makes you unique ‘cause I know that when you’re a teenager - and sometimes when you’re an adult - what sets you apart can sometimes feel like a burden and it’s not. A lot of the time, it’s what makes you great.” - Emma Stone

I love that Stone is encouraging her fans to be themselves, she rocks! She has always been true to herself and I love that about her. She truly is a great role model for all.

Spring Cleaning

Bon Jour!

It’s me, ‘Undercover Girl,’ It has been awhile, missed you. It’s Spring Cleaning time at Sally’s :) This weekend I helped Sally clean out her office, and since Summer is right around the corner, we did it JUST in time. I wanted to say thank you to everyone that stopped by the store to say hi to us. You made my day!

Well…I’m off to band practice, we are learning a new song…

What inspires you?

Hello, it is me again, ‘Undercover Girl.’. I’ve been so busy lately doing the usual, solving mysteries, playing my drums in my all girl band, and helping my friend Sally design some items for her back to school 2013 (my expertise in Fashion comes in VERY handy :D ). It’s SO much fun to help her pick the fabrics, trims and styles of clothes, it has inspired me to maybe become a Fashion Designer, too!

I love this time of year so much! Spring has most definitely sprung, and we are well on our way to Summer. There are so many hot trends this season, such as crochet and lace overlays. I’m really loving color blocking right now too.
